Gender and Household Economics

The Research Institute for Development, Growth and Economics (RIDGE), the Women Economists in LAC -WELAC (LACEA) and Universidad del Pacífico are pleased to announce a call for papers for the Gender and Household Economics Workshop to be held in Lima, Peru on 12-13 May. The Workshop encourages the submission of papers that examine gender implications broadly defined from all fields in economics and similarly for household economics. The research can be theoretical or empirical and use data from any country.
The RIDGE Forums and LACEA networks aim to favor the spread of high-quality research in economics by bringing together top researchers working on the frontier of knowledge and policymakers. Participants to any workshop are welcome and encouraged to attend the other workshops.
WELAC is a standing committee of LACEA whose goal is to promote and support the careers of women economists. This is our fourth workshop in this general area.
