Trade Integration and Growth Network
TIGN the successor of the Regional Integration Network (RIN) has as objective to gather the best researchers working on growth and trade, with a focus on Latin America.
The LACEA-TIGN network aims to build a high quality network of economists working on issues related to the linkages between trade, integration and growth, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. The network is a deepening of the previously existing LACEA network RIN that had an emphasis on trade and integration themes. With this reformulation LACEA aims to expand the topic covered by RIN to trade-related productivity and growth outcomes.
The network develops its activities through the organization of an annual meeting to discuss current and future research priority issues, as well as its relevance for policymakers.

The 15th Annual Conference of the LACEA Trade, Integration and Growth Network was held in Montevideo, Uruguay on May 26-27, 2025.
This conference is sponsored by the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the CAF-Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), and the Research Institute for Development, Growth and Economics (RIDGE).
