Changes in LACEA’s Secretariat office
After several years serving as LACEA’s General Secretary and Assistant Manager, Angela Fonseca and Elena Zadic are stepping down as General Secretary and Assistant Manager. This “dupla’s” service to LACEA has been great. Together, they’ve kept business going, been in charge of financial statements and accounts, managed communications, organized elections, and much more. Elena has also been in charge of Economia’s editorial office. Angela selected and worked with the firm that put together the new webpage, which is about to come live. In short, they’ve kept the organization functional and vibrant. This community owes them both a great deal.
We welcome Maira Colacce and Joaquín Cabrera, respectively LACEA’s new General Secretary and Assistant Manager. Both Maira and Joaquín are affiliated with Universidad de La República in Uruguay, and played key roles in the very successful organization of last year’s annual conference in Montevideo.
Greetings,
Marcela Eslava
LACEA President
