Pamela Medina Quispe is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Management, University of Toronto Scarborough and Rotman School of Management. She works at the intersection of international trade, firm dynamics, and development economics. Her research focuses on how factor-market distortions shape firms' decisions to produce and trade, and what are the implications of these distortions for growth and the effectiveness of industrial and trade policies, especially in developing and emerging economies.
