María Lombardi is an assistant professor at the School of Government of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. She was previously an assistant professor at the University of Gothenburg and has a PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a BA in Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés. Her research focuses on studying the impact of public policies in developing countries (mostly in Latin America), focusing on education. Her work has been published in the Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Public Economics, and Journal of Economic Growth, among others.
