Cristine Pinto is a full professor at Insper. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a master's degree in Economics from PUC-Rio, a master's degree in Statistics, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Insper, she was an associate professor at the São Paulo School of Economics, FGV, and a visiting professor at the University of Michigan. Her research areas are Econometrics and Economics of Education. She has articles published in several international journals, including Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, and Review of Economics and Statistics. He is currently a member of the Latin American Standing Committee of the Econometric Society and on the board of the Brazilian Econometrics Society. She has been associate editor of the Brazilian Review of Econometrics.
